Denmark & Copenhagen AI problem v 05

The AI playing the Axis in the .05 version doesn't know how to take Denmark. It invades early then stops. Never finishes taking it.

This happened to me once also. It seems to happen when the AI attacks the capital and clears all the units out of it. The unit doesn't know to step forward and capture the capital so it just sits there. This happened to me on version 1.00.04f.

I don't consider the AI worth the trouble to fight other than to test something. I just noticed under 05 version it looked like it didn't know where Copenhagen was so just quite trying. Think it actually attacked to take out the one unit on the mainland then withdrew from Denmark all the troops. But left them on the German side of the border. Needs an AI script twink I think.

Hi,
Same here on 0.05, German units stuck half way up Denmark for 6 months not doing anything.

May be related, but it's now Feb 28, 1941 and Germany still hasnt taken Paris, does one or two half hearted attacks a turn and gets nowhere.
Initial attacks were like a hot knife through butter, now nothing for last 4+ months.

Just advancing turns to see what happens [:D]
