[FIXED] Cannot get Drop down menu with Rules of Engagement for land

Hello,

When I go into Doctrines & Rules of Engagement and try to to change the Weapon Control Status(WCS) for land. The drop down menu will not display the options like FREE, and HOLD.

I am running Command v1.01 Build 1121.6

I am running the scenario Submarine Tutorial 2.2 and will include it with this post

By default, the option is disabled in earlier versions. In order to change that now with new version, the scenario would need to be updated (and saved) to turn the option on before the player can access it.

What is the reason for the change from CMANO? The BVR engagement logic seems to be locked as well for the same reason.

There was no intentional change. When the menus were moved to the new format in CMO, the option on those 2 items were missed somehow. So not being present, the scenario save thinks that they are disabled. Enabling the items and then saving the scenario, means it will be enabled when players use that new scenario under CMO.

Any old scenarios not saved under CMO (i.e. under CMANO) should show these options as per the designer settings (either enabled or disabled).

That's disappointing to hear. Is there any word on when that might be fixed? Starting every scenario in editor (which starts in God's Eye mode), saving it after enabling the WCS and Engagement Logic, and then restarting is going to get tedious after awhile, and there is also the issue with playing a campaign since you can't start that in editor mode and then save it that way (at least I don't know how).

Just wanted to add that the 2 buttons work fine in the quick missions, but they are not universally available in regular scenarios as they were in CMANO.

Hi,

Here are the corrected versions of the standalone scenarios, with the two doctrine options again available.

We will make a separate release for the CMANO versions of these scenarios. These will also be included on the next update release.
