upgraded structures to higher levels of Anti-Aircraft Defense

Hello,

I just would to be sure if an upgraded structure - cities, fortifications, ressources...- to higher levels of Anti-Aircraft Defense will protect a fridenly unit located on the ressource or fortification too ?

If not, the Anti-Aircraft Defense research level better than 2 will be provided only to structures and fortifications, units exclued (a unit can be upgraded to 2, never more)?

By consequence, the AA defense level better than 2 can be used only against strategic bombing ?

Each anti aircraft level should increase the defence bonus that gets applied to units
