Roer River and the dams

Post by BrianG »

The allies were extremely worried that the Roer river dam would be intentional destroyed turning the minor Roer river into the major Roer river. At least for a few turns of enhance water flow.

The Roer river is not shown on the game map, it runs through the plains west of Cologne.

The river should be put on the map. Now if only you could code it to allow the Germens to turn it into a major river for 2 or 3 turns to represent the destruction of the dam. Then, at least for a few turns, the allies would need to deal with another major river barrier.

If that would be too difficult then at least the area where the Roer Dams would be on located on the game map should be made into a victory location. And I do not think the game shows enough heavy wood area where the Hurtgen forest is located. Too many clear hexes.

Or a few of the light forest hexes near the Hurtgen should be heavy forest.
