Highlight Targets on Map

Greetings,

I've checked the forum history, but have not found an answer to my question.

Is there a way to better visually highlight a class of targets you've selected (airfields, rubber, chemical, etc) on the map when you have the List Targets (T) map selected? Especially in BTR (with that huuuuugggge map), when I select a target type, unless it's been recce'd in the last 3 days, the target is EXTREMELY difficult to pick out from the map background. Even zooming in, it takes a few seconds of scanning that section of the map before you can pick out all targets.

Is there a function that I'm missing that will allow me to easily visually highlight them?

Click on "highlight target damage" toggle first, then "List Targets."

Tip: Also use "List Targets" during raid planning to filter out industry types, sort by Capacity, and then select "Target", and then build your raid to that Target. This is usually easier than hunting around the map to select a Target.

I tried that early on, but unless the target was recently recce'd, it doesn't put the red, yellow, or green "halo" around it.

I'm in the early stages of the '43 Campaign, and am setting up my reconnaissance plan. I like to mission plan so that each recce bird hits several of the same type of target in one mission (for instance, having it pass sequentially over three powerplants in the same city).

When I pull up the List Targets map and filter to Aircraft Factories (after selecting "highlight target damage"), only those that I've recently photographed are highlighted; the remainder of the aircraft factories are lost in amongst the background.

That's odd, it works fine for me regardless of days since last photo. I wager you are toggling the wrong button on the right hand panel. Try the crosshairs without the "R" (for recon) in it.

AHA!

I found out what I was doing wrong!

If you have BOTH Highlight Target Damage AND Highlight Targets with Current Photos selected when you go to List Targets and filter by target, it'll only show current photo targets. I thought Highlight Target Damage overrode the photo order.
