In the scen brief;

"It is imperative that the Axis use the rail repair units appropriately.......There are several threads on the Matrix forum by Steve that explain its method"

Can someone please be kind enough to direct me to that or those threads? I tried looking but minus a real search

See post #3 in this thread:

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1936216

Basically, embark the rail units at turn 0, and then you move them to the area you most would like to be repaired.

Similar to the Russo-German War scenario rail repair (we had some discussion about rail repair in that scene, in my AAR in that game v. PO)

I like the Russo-German scenario better. But the rail repair in that scene is the same as it works in D21 I'm pretty sure.

I hope this helps!

Sure, no problem. Here is another thread, more recent than the other.

Discussing the v.2 from a few years ago :)

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2594404

Of course there are lots of threads in AARs from both TOAWIII and IV forums. Sometimes hard to find, the older ones the pictures are not there anymore, but still instructive to see how the scenario has played over the years...I still like the Russo-German War scenario better, although the one time I played D21 as Germans, my computer crashed around turn 75 or so, so I really did not get to play it all the way out.

I think the Russo-German War is kind of an "update" of D21, not sure. Anyway, happy gaming!
