SP: Just After WAW?

Post by hhsohn »

Now that SPMW has been cancelled, are there any plans to put in units available during the period just after WW2 but before new technology like helicopters and guided missiles were widely used? It'd be really interesting to see some early Arab-Israeli wars...

All that you want & more will (eventually) be in Close Assault for the RTS crowd & Combat Leader for the Hex/Turn-based Crowd.

As for adding more to the existing OOBs, what shall we remove USA? Germany? They are pretty much packed to the gills as it is now & you would have to delete something to make room. That's one(of many) of the reasons for the new games.

Actually the early Arab-Israeli wars would be easy. Make a desert map, pick prozy flages to represent the two sides, and give them units. They were using WW2 surplus after all :)
