My World at War MP is working but not WIE.

The popup says that I need to upgrade to 1.17.00.
Is this another separate patch?

Yes there is another patch available that will bring WiE up to v1.17.00 that needs to be applied.

After Upgrading to v1.17.00 I played my next turn.
Sent it to my opponent as usual.
He played his turn, now after downloading his return file, I get the following error-message:

"Could not find 159288.dat."

Help.

Place it in the following hidden folder on your end and you should then be good to go

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe\PBEM++\<matrixusername>
