No sound after recent beta (Steam)

When I installed the beta version and played them, I saw some warning messages regarding wav files. Then, the game is muted. No sounds no music.

I'm pretty sure this is firewall issue. Do I need to reinstall the steam version again?

It's caused by anti-virus software such as Avast. When you run the game again there should be no issues.

Well, but I'm running game (recent beta, 1.056 from steam) again and again, but the game is muted, no sounds neither musics are coming out. Looks like some wav files are deleted by anti-virus?

Do I need to remove all and reinstall again?

It might be that anti-virus quarantined some sound files, hence de-facto deleted them.

Unusual that waw files were targeted.

On Steam, select the game Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Files. That can fix the issue.
