Apparently there is an issue with the update so this challenge is postponed until further notice. My apologies.

I played this one against the Axis AI last night and the AI really humbled me because I was too aggressive. I need to go back to the drawing board and improve my understanding of good strategies for the Allied beach landings.

The Axis have the advantage in this scenario because of their force make up--definitely Shock-heavy. Though they have some tanks, Allied forces are infantry-heavy. Smart employment of Allied Naval forces is critical.

Combat Tip: "We're not in Kansas anymore, ToTo..."

Having played this scenario several times via PBEM...while also playing North Africa scenarios, it's easy to forget that tanks do not perform well in towns, woods and mountains. I have had an embarrassing number of tank units destroyed by the lowly ground pounder because I forgot this fact.

Five new "as the Allies" challenges posted. Let me know if you want to learn or want to win. I am very satisfied with either mode. Go!
