Original CD required in Drive

Original CD required in Drive

I am trying to run KP on my Dell laptop....the installation was successful, but when I try to run I get a message saying that it will not run without the original CD in the drive (which it is!!)

I have seen this post several times on the forum, but no answers....pls let me know how to adress this....I'm ready to return KP to the store soon if I can't get it to work...thanks!
