Iron Cross Mod Ver 4.3 virus ?

What is this Iron Cross Mod Ver 4.3?
I have never downloaded any mod to my game.
The PBEM wouldn't download and I was directed to download 1.06, which I did directly from my game page on the Matrix site.
When I unzipped the patch my opening WaW page shows display a subtitle "Iron Cross Mod Ver 4.3"
With the ICRM4.3 downloaded I was able to access my pbem which appeared with subdued map colors and new counters.
The instant my cursor clicked an HQ the game crashed.

So Bill what is happening here?

The mod is installed and used by default. See: fb.asp?m=4764811

If you go to Options -> Settings -> Mods

Then you should be able to turn this mod off by un-ticking the box against its name.

We will have a fix for the Mod that is causing the crashes when it is enabled and clicking on HQs hopefully soon.

It seems that the mod is included with a default setting of "ON". Not sure why, but hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I believe if you re-download and re-apply the patch it will now correct this for you.
