Question about sub detection

Alvaro can you tell us what the odds are for finding subs from carriers and land aircraft.
And what differences do any tech levels make.

The techs are for damaging the sub and increase ASW values.

But funny you post this today because I was working on something about naval searches from the 4 games I was playing. I was noticing something.

Is it the same chance to find subs as surface, if they are both in raider mode ?
