I think Alvaro said, that this was not going to happen in Warplan 1. In Warplan 2 land units will resemble naval units, ie you can throw a bunch of divisions together in a hex to constitute a Corps. Or something like that.

I would love to have that in Warplan 1 though. If you could build divisions give them their own name, insignia and perhaps some unique traits that would add a lot of flavor. Corps would act as a kind of holder for your divisions. So still a Corps level game mainly, but more flexible.

One can dream right...

Just wait for WITE2, comes with historical icons, Wiki, combat history, detailed composition... for units/pilots/leaders.

That sounds great, but WITE is just TOO much for me. I admire it though.
