Noumea lost= reinforcements lost?

If the allied player loses Noumea, does he lose all reinforcments coming in to New Caledonia? Or do they arive in Brisbine?

I read somewhere in this forum reinforcments don't come for the place thats lost untill you retake it.

As Bushmaster said: "all reinforcements scheduled to appear in the captured base will remain out of play until the base is recaptured" - section 18 of the manual. Not having had this pleasure ;) , I hope someone who has can confirm that this is indeed what happens.
