Genghis Light C.C. Titan

Post by widowmaker »

I needed a new Light CC/Energy Titan for one of my jocks who just wasn't getting CXP, but I wasn't satisfied with the Attila. So I modified it and created the Genghis. Observe:

Titan Name: Genghis Close Combat Light Titan
Chassis: Morola L3 Design: Widowmaker
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Weight: 70.0t (70t maximum) Height : 9 [meter]
Bmt : 20 (60 kph) Reduce Heat: -3.45C/sec.
Jmt : 14 (85 kph) for 64 secs Cost : 142125($)

Equipment:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Component/Type/Location

Engine :Krios K4 [Engine 4] [CT ]
HeatReg.:Delinit H6 [Heat 6]
LifeSup.:Livotto [Life 1] [CBT ]
Scanner :Triton [Scan. 4] [LT ]
Computer:Triton TC [Comp. 4] [RT ]
JumpPort:Aerojol [Jump 2]

Weapons:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Location/Weapon/Ammunition/Slots

[LA ] POWER AXE
[RA ] POWER AXE
[Head] MEDIUM LASER
[Head] MEDIUM LASER

Armor:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Loc/Internal/Armor/Status/Points/mm

[Head] (11) Dullaroy 017 [025mm]
[RT ] (17) Millenia (W) 025 [050mm]
[CT ] (21) Millenia (W) 025 [050mm]
[CBT ] (11) Vicenium (W) 015 [026mm]
[LT ] (17) Millenia (W) 025 [050mm]
[RA ] (19) Vicenium (W) 025 [042mm]
[LA ] (19) Vicenium (W) 025 [042mm]
[LowT] (13) Vicenium (W) 025 [042mm]
[RL ] (17) Millenia (W) 025 [050mm]
[LL ] (17) Millenia (W) 025 [050mm]

Armor Index: 5.63 [Total APts/T]
Internal: 162 [APts]
External: 232 [APts] Max:[054mm]
Total Armor: 394 [APts]

JOCK requirements:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Piloting: Light Titan incl. Jump
Weapons : Energy C.C.
Warfare : Scanner
Skills : Medic

The Attila's ECM and Flares were traded out for Jump Ports (a CC Titan that can't DFA? Not in my squad.)
Total Armor decreased 14 AP, but the switch to Millenia allowed the Heat Reg to be downgraded one level and still increased heat dissipation by .41 C/sec.
The chassis was upgraded to provide more speed and more internal armor.
With the ECM gone, the engine was downgraded one level with no drop in performance.
The BC was downgraded one level, and the Scanner upgraded to level 4. (If I remember correctly, the BC doesn't help with CC, but active scans do.)
The ML's were moved from each arm to the Head (eggs in one basket thing).
Finally, I realize I left 1 mm of armor off the Head that could be there, but that would make the Titan add up to 70.0 tons exactly. Why is that bad? At that point, Bmt increases from 20 to 21, thus throwing the speed gained from the upgraded chassis out the window. (BTW, can that be fixed?)

Questions? Comments? Snide remarks?

editted to try and correct the thread name. Failed attempt. Currently banging head on desk and uttering, "Stupid! Stupid!" repeatedly.
"The trick is to be angled just right so when your Titan's engine shuts down, you fall behind the cover."

If you think its a bug please post in the bugs section so Marga (master of all things factory or command center) can pick it up. We are NOT constantly scanning all threads for hidden bug reports.
