Freeze in search

Around the 6th round the game will freeze in the search phase. once this happens I can never get past the search phase, even if I restart.

Any ideas

Not enough info. Please post your switch string from your game shortcut. Does your game perform fast execution and scrolling before the freeze-up? What have you done during installation - base game and patches?

Also, what are the specs of your computer. It keeps a lot of data in RAM - every time you click on a unit or base or hex the game loads up the info for everything about it.

Also, terminology matters. What does "6th Round" mean?

Are you looking for World in Flames (WIF) by any chance. If not, We need more info....GP

Sorry for the lack of info.

I am running the standard run... it only says Autorun and it does not give much info. here is the string "C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\autorun.exe" I have no idea how to get more.

The 6the turn is I guess day 6 or later.

How would I add more memory to the game I have 16GB... it is a very new system.

BTW I have installed all patches... I checked using "Check for Update" feature of the start window

Don't use the autorun.exe.

The check for updates does not work anymore. You don't want to run the game from the autorun.exe. Should just be the execute.

War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe.

You need to find the real game execute in your game folder and run the game from that.

Similar to my command line:
"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -fd -altFont -cpu3 -dd_sw -multiaudio -px1920 -py1080 -deepColor -skipVideo
