Mostly Blizzard in Russia but still manage the first incursion into Germany. If Axis get a CLEAR they will probably kill at least one of my lead units, but if not have the makings of a small pocket.

My tank Corp in Corsica is about to die, time to pull out of Sardinia.

In the Mediterranean the allied units on Corsica refuses to die but hopefully next turn.

Lots of allies in Libya. Axis spies in Egypt claims there are no allied units left in Egypt. The alert Athen garrison sets sail for Egypt and finds it empty and occupy Port Said. No idea if this matters or not gamewise but in real war I guess not having supplies through Suez or Gibraltar would be a big problem.

In the east it looms like a historical courland pocket might occur but 18 months too early [:)].

Same as always grim prospects in the east and dont think I can do anything to stop it. Looks like the Russians might wash their boots in the English channel. Stalin must be pleased [:)].

Not much happened this move, lots of mud.
Allies pull out of Sardinia, leaving the Tank corps to it's fate.

Otherwise getting ready to invade Festung Europa.

March 26 1943

Cold and snow fearful of the Allied turn. In the east have a halfdecent line with a little bit of reserve but I have so many inf corps down to single digit healthpoints and I have a hard time to get replacement to them. It will be a long summer [:)].

In the Mediterranean we kill of the US arm coprs in Corsica so just a British divison in all of europe for now (except I realize Rhodes and Crete :)). The Italians march triumphantly into Cairo. I suppose that even if supply flows into the Med new units dont so what the allies have in the Med is what they will have for quite some time I hope. Axis prepare defense of Tripoli. Allied supply situation not amazing I think so there is some hope of holding.

First bit of CLEAR on the Russian front.
Cut off three infantry Corps in Courland, though they may still escape. Shatter another couple of Corps.
The attack in the South starts so pressure along the line.

In the Med the Allies are making the usual mess of things, two German corps arrive in Palestine because I moved my fleets in the wrong sequence last turn. Am hoping it won't matter.

Forgot screen shot again [:@].

Heavy rain in the east thank you very much. But situation grim couldnt even cover the whole front because of the weather. The shattering of corps is hard to deal with. You can only build one corps per turn at the most so will run out of units eventually. So the east not very fun [:)].

More fun in the Med. Destroy the last allied unit on Sardinia. Also Shatter another US Arm unit outside Tripoli. Also destroy a British div and overrun 2 air units so Tripoli will hold for now. But lost a Italian corps in combat last turn and now I lost a corps to interdiction when I greedily moved into Tripoli and paid the price. Many allied units moved back to Egypt but seems to be mostly divisons for now. Outside coast of Spain on the convoy line 6 British transports. We will see where they are going.

Mud in Russia so not much happening.

In N. Africa just fail to kill a Panzer, though not much doubt about which side is winning here. Lots more Axis air on the way just to make sure.
We land again on the W. Africa coast to see if it will distract a few units.

In the east try to arrange the defense line for this cold turn and then the long summer to follow, scary [:)].

Disband our first airunit I dont have the resources to fill them up it seems like so a few units will go probably.

Soviets.

Blizzard in the far north so most of the VVS can't fly.
Bit of a breakout in the South, risky but may force Axis to pull back from their river line next to the Black sea.
Kill 4 German Infantry Corps.
Axis have a few big Panzer units around so am expecting something of a counter attack somewhere.

In the Med.

Building up on the West Coast, will see if it draws in any German reserves.
Not looking good in the central area, hoping Axis dont have enough units to wipe me out.
Hopefully can hold out in Egypt, just 3 Axis Corps so don't think they can assault across the Nile.

All my forces in the Med should be cut off under the latest patch (Axis hold Gib and Port Said) so am hoping that patch is not working !

Russian front.

Mud in the far North which grounds most of our aircraft, manage to get a few attacks in around Brest-Litovsk

Better progress in the South and begin to roll up the river defensive line.
Kill about 3 Corps worth of units this turn.

Just need a few turns of CLEAR.

Med.

In West Africa just building up my forces.
In the center am pulling back, too much Axis air power.
Around Egypt trying to build up and hopefully expel the 3 Axis Corps while stopping any further landings with the RN.

A few bugs in evidence this turn:
I think all my units in Africa should be isolated.
Tried an invasion with the Canadians but they won't invade, they also only seem to use a portion of the UK transports so can only move one Corps by sea.
Soviets bombers in the heavy mud can't do airstrikes (which is fine) but can do Ground Support.

In the Med we seem to secure Tripoli for a while. In egeypt morea llied air but not that much ground forces yet so can probably hold Port Said a bit longer. tried to invade Tobruk but lost a italian corps to interdict so invasions seems harder now a good thing. A side effect I havent thought of is you lose transport capability when you lose a unit at sea pretty naturally so I realiseItaly have very little transportcapability left which is not so good. In Moroccokilla Canadian div.

Russia.

More heavy mud in the North, frustrating at a 5% chance each turn !
In the South get a breakout and take Budapest forcing Hungary to surrender. Could cost a unit or two but I think Axis will be too stretched to do much.
Kill a couple of German corps in the process.
Looks like I captured some AA !

Allies.
Building up to take back Egypt.
Falling back from Misurata along the coast.
Our decoy force in W. Africa is getting beaten up and also falling back.
Invade and take Brest, will see if I can hold an invasion with air cover from the UK. Had to use a tank because my Canadians refuse to invade which has kind of upset the strategy here.

Forgot Screenshots.

East.Situation critical. With Hungarian units gone (How could I forget to garrison the capital argh) and some shatterings every turn I am running out of units can barely form a whole front. We force a rereat of some units and cut off two units in Hungary. Wether I can finish them off remains to be seen.

Start move some units to France but this time it will be hard to get rid of the allies.

Start evacuate Egypt. Saved Tripoli and move up to the frontline in Morocco.

Goal now is basically try to survive into 44 most certainly not a sure thing.

Clear weather at last !
Soviets cut through to the two isolated units and make progress elsewhere along the front.
Kill ratio is over 2:1, plus killed four units this turn.
Lost only 1 Soviet air point this turn which seems odd, maybe air units defensive strength increases but not ground units AA ???

Elsewhere not that much happening, building up in France though have lost so many Allied units this game that don't have that much to invade with.

Think there should be some prospects of taking most of Germany in '43 but probably not all.
