CD Are Shipping As Promised!...........Finally

Post by David Heath »

Hi Guys

As promised I was given the word today by the warehouse that the CD did arrive and the CD's started shipping TODAY! THANK GOD! This wonderful CD merchant screwed us out of 1/3 of my CD I had paid for but this will not cause any problems with the current orders. Now this does not mean EVERY SINGLE ORDER SHIPPED TODAY. It does mean a some did and those that did should have there games soon. I was told to expect the rest ot go out on Monday and Tuesday.

I am sorry I didn't post this sooner but I was making sure that the everthing was going on as it should and updating the help desk.

On some news the Uncommon Valor web site got a nice fact lift and some new screenshots as well. We should have the first new Combat Leader (turn based) screenshots soon to give you the first peek.

Our new and greatly improved store is opened and available to take orders.

We want to thank all of you that stuck with us and didn't break at the first sign of trouble. This really means a lot to us. Have a little faith in us and a little support and wait to see what we can really do.

The problems with the CD's should be behind us with another notch on my learning belt made. We have a new CD maker (nice big company) and will not have this problem in the future.

If there are any problems please use the helpdesk and we will do our best to correct them quickly for you.

Great news and keep up the good work. I would love to know what CD maker was involved with this first problem.

I would like to drop them a line.

Thanks again for a great game.

Most of us were already die hard "sp" fans and if you good folks had'nt of jumped in that great game would have been allowed to "die on the vine"...In very good faith, you then made sure the "free" version of spwaw was available and it itself was a major improvement(rebirth) of SP....Having not seen the cd yet,i for one would have paid much more, and would still wait a long time for mine....I do not take you folks for granted, and i learned a long time ago from my dad how to judge "friends".....I.E.:If outnumbered and surrounded, low on ammo and no hope for reinforcements,is this the guy you would want in the hole next to you?....Send the boys home....For me,it's never been about the money.......SPWAW is "living history" in a way i can afford it.. :D

David,

I was a Remote Assistance Support Engineer which is telephonese for "he who gets yelled at and abused" engineer. I helped many a technician & customer through problems so I really do understand the learning notches on your belt. Listen to Ted Nugent on volume "11" when you get home & it all feels better.

At least it did for me... :D

Great news, David. I just want to say I really appreciate all that Matrix is doing to get the Desert Fox Campaign to my door. All new ventures have "opportunities" to learn and grow...LOL. But not all companies benefit from adversity. They simply don't learn. Not so with Matrix. I'd love to chat more but I need to keep a close eye on my mail box!

David, thanks for the great news, plus having to put up with all our complaining. Its best to wait for perfection, than to rush to mediocrity. Thanks again.
