Good evening all....GP
"All" what? Your sentence needs a noun to be modified by all.

Indeed. It shoulda been:

"Good evening all y'all*." or "Good evening, all you *****." or "Good evening all of you except for Zilch."

*Y'all may be used in the singular "Y'all have a good day now, Ya hear?" or plural "Are all y'all comin' back to the ranch after supper?" based upon varying contextual contacts.

The colloquialism 'shoulda' is not recognized by my spell checker. Please amend your post to conform with the accepted standard, or I'll sic the grammar police on you. [8D] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmwgz0yxtns

Carpenters use levels; pilots use planes (at least the good ones do).
