NOTE: This is an update for CMANO, NOT for its sequel "Command Modern Operations". Do NOT use this on a CMO installation.

To use: Unzip to your existing CMANO installation, overwriting as necessary.


Build 1009.37.1 Release Notes (changes from B1009.35.1)

* Fixed: Flank arrays not able to detect passive sonar contacts
* FIXED: Null-reference exception when loading default coverage arcs on older scenarios
* Aircraft AI tweak: When in normal loiter mode (no mission flight or plotted course), wingmen ignore their formation station and just stick close to the leader
* Relaxed the "have reached formation station" check threshold for aircraft (makes them less eager to throttle up to get to station)
* FIXED: On strike egress leg, wingman were not sticking to their formation station (pulling ahead or behind)
* Lua: Added VP_PauseSimulation(), VP_RunSimulation() and VP_SetTimeCompression()
* Lua: GameContext property added to Scenario proxy-object
* Various sim-core performance tweaks
* FIXED: SystemAccessViolationException thrown in various Lua scripts
* Speed boost in Lua under heavy load
* MAJOR CHANGE & FIXED: Engagements re-using same random number Replaced the random number generator system with a cryptographically seeded Random object and each thread gets their own dedicated Random rather than doling them out.

Generally, when Dimiris posts, its a beta update that gets pushed out to make sure certain things are fixed and working. It gets a "Build XXXX.XX" name and is usually on google drive as a zip or rar file. It won't show up on your Matrix page until Matrix releases it using a software release number like 1.01 and is in an exe file. Then it shows up on your Matrix page.

Might have a few of the details wrong, but that's the gist. But its relatively safe to say that if its not on your Matrix page, its a beta build. And of course Steam is always slightly different...

Appears to be a major flaw in this patch

I've applied this update to my CMANO installation and the maps no longer appear. Loading any scenario, saved game, start a new scenario and it's just a grey screen although the simulation is running and shows the cursor data block.

I had saved Command.exe before applying the patch and reverted to the previous version but left the rest of the changes in place and this resolved the blank map issue.

Same issue for me as it was in B1009.36. When any scenario loads it just shows a blank area with no land/sea areas:

Thanks for the alert, we'll investigate this immediately.

Holding off on the release for now...

You can revert to the last "good" version by re-applying B1009.35.1 .

I've downloaded and applied the new patch (1009.37.1) and now have the normal map display

Is this cummulative since the last Steam patch? Or do I have to instal B1009.35.1 before?

Noticed an odd issue that I've not seen before updating to this version.

The ROE for land cannot be changed, for units, sides, or groups:

Even going into the editor and 'ticking the box', saving, and reloading the save has no effect. This affects new scenarios and old saves too, made before the update.
