Playtesters needed for Civil War scenario

Post by Raindem »

Greetings.

My latest project, Nation in Conflict, has entered the beta testing stage. It is a campaign level scenario which covers the entire American Civil War. It is 106 bi-weekly turns, on a 10 mile/hex map. Unit scale is at the division level, formed into corps or armies. There are a lot of options. But the overall unit count is low, and the combat is focused in a couple corridors, so the scenario plays quickly. This one is a purely historical simulation. I plan to follow up later on with an alternate companion scenario that gives the players more control.

I want to emphasize that this scenario is in beta only. It's not ready for release.

- There is no PO yet. At this time I'm seeking PBEM playtesters only.
- There is no briefing yet. I'll have to walk you through the various scenario features
- Replacements have only been roughed in. I need to evaluate casualties in actual games to finalize them
- Several events have been disabled for testing purposes.

I’m looking to start up a couple games from both sides to flesh out the bugs and tweak play balance. I’ve already done a couple solitaire run-throughs and hopefully have addressed the major issues.

If interested, please email directly to curtchambers@zoho.com.

Thanks

Curt

This scenario is close to being released (PBEM only. PO will take a while longer). But one of my playtesters has gone MIA. So if any Civil War buffs out there are interested in a game, send me an email.

Thanks
