F key question

Post by Freedom205 »

When using the "F" key to move an entire stack, will the stack always move together? ( not 1 at a time to the same destination)

I want to make sure I understand for avoiding traffic jams, and making sure that units are protected from a meeting attack while they move. ( an arty unit in a stack is safer than one moving alone)

No. Each unit will move individually to its destination hex.

I don't know how the program de-conflicts over-stacking...which unit gets to move into a hex that may result in an over-stack. My best guess is the unit with the higher movement factor will move into the hex. Following units that would exceed the stacking limits will be halted before entering the intended destination hex.
