Weather Bug?

Post by jxrey »

I’m playing as the Entente against CPU. From October through early January, every turn, I’m getting rain and snow. Strange but possible, I guess. Problem is that when it’s the Central Powers turn, they get clear weather every time. How can two sides fighting the same battle get different weather? Maybe the weather graphic overlay doesn’t show on the CPs turn?

The weather is random and not directed to one side or the other, human or AI.

But if you let me know which campaign you're playing and which part of the map then I can look at the weather settings in case the chance of rain and snow is a bit higher than is ideal.

Thanks for the quick response and for making a quality product. It’s the full campaign. Not sure what parts of the map, though it kind of happened through most parts of the northern half of the map. However, I played past the 2nd winter and recall having a couple of turns with clear weather. So maybe the System generated an unusually harsh winter. You say that weather does not favor one side or the other. However, I distinctly remember numerous turns of snow and rain for me and a clear map for the ai. Is it that the weather graphics do not appear during the ai turn, even though the effects of the weather still apply? Thanks.

The weather effects should be visible at all times, and we do tend to notice more when our side is suffering from bad weather.
