Unable to start game

After experiencing issues where I couldn't load any campaigns I decided to reinstall the game. However after Installation I get the Message:" Unable to find PW data" I'm trying to start the game from the exe directly in the WiTP:ae folder. using windows 10.

I'm trying to start the latest official version. 26a

It sounds like you did not install the base game first.

As far as I know I used both files from the downloads

Managed to fix it, it seems the base version I had was corrupted
