Don't worry if a nuke explodes, there will be always someone to tell you that only 3-4000 persons are deads.[:D]

And plenty of others that will tell you that the whole things was caused by the lizard eyed commy aliens who live on the other face of our flat earth [:D]

Well we do know viruses exist in outer space, along with alot of other things in space we don´t know of yet.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VielSUhG-40

What we should worry is that, if we know that each day 1,000 people die, and numbers could be higher but they don´t want to rise the alarm. That means that 7,000 people die every week! So the problem is not the numbers as much but the reaction time! We can´t wait a week for fixes as that means 7,0000 more will die while decision are made! That´s what should sink in some heads!

Yes and the TB vaccine can also give some protection.

Amen to that.
A friend and I in the sixth grade "studied" the "bombs" and their lethal range.
We had a map of the United States and scaled out the blast radius of each bomb. Who would die from the blast and who would die later from the radiation.
We dropped the "in scale" circles onto the map.
It was surprising how few bombs would have been necessary to take out the East and West Coasts.
After that "duck and cover" became "let's run outside and not miss it".

Surprising what statistics and measurement can do to affect your mindset?

Red. Like the horse found out, mines bigger. The "five" are too. Not much will change. We may all spend a little more GDP on respirators and future planning for pandemics. But, the power will be in the hands of the powerful. And, you said it yourself, the likelihood of a nuclear war is low. It does not mean that the power shifts?

Perspective, IIRC, 67,000 Americans died last year of the regular flu.
But, I know, it did not happen all at once like this pandemic.

It's not surprising how different viewpoints can be held by individuals?

If I put a bow in your hand, Iam basically telling you to hunt for your food.

If I put a gun in your hand, Iam basically telling you there´s a enemy nearby.

Funny how we are manipulated, at least some.

Hunting with bow is illegal here.

No, I got it. I just elected to make a point, that was irrelevant to your point.

I hope no offence was taken.

Cross bow or long bow?

And, BTW, I hunt with rifle and shot gun. I am also a good pistol target shooter.

Yeah 12 gauge shotgun ftw. Something that won't blow up small game but big enough to take down the bigger stuff like deer and elk. Range is limited but if you could only have one that would be the one.

I suppose if you were a Native American back in the 1800s that may make some sense. A bow to hunt and a gun to shoot the invaders. [;)]

Or a gun to chase other Native Americans off their land.

Same applies now, just that the enemy has changed.

That I know of, natives didn´t have guns, which is part of my point.

As they say, a revolution is when you find out that who was to be a enemy really is not your enemy, so you have been lied to by those who you trusted.

But hey, some people are happy with that, and get turned on by it, or big big guns [:D]

The Ojibwa/Chippewa pushed the Dakota/Lakota off their lands with the guns that they got from the French to attack English colonists. The Ojibwa name for the Dakota? The "Sioux" which means enemy.
