[CLOSED] CMO Wargame of Year Edition: Won't Launch

I bought Command Modern Operations: Wargame of the Year edition from Steam. Since converting to Win10 it won't launch. I double-click on the application file and get a spinner icon which eventually disappears. Nothing else happens. I tried the Prerequiste fixes in the other thread but they didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Did the prerequisites get reinstalled. Like DirectX and dot.net

Thanks. I reinstalled DirectX and the game screen came up. Just one more problem. When I try to load a scenario I get a popup that says the game is "Unlicensed" and I need to Upgrade. When I click to upgrade it takes me to Matrix game site. What's the deal? I bought this game years ago. It used to run fine. Do I have to repurchase it? Seems a bit unfair. I think I bought it from Steam.

What scenario are you loading?
Some of the scenarios that are not found in the Standalone and Tutorials and DLC, and need to be purchased.

It happens with any scenario, including Tutorial. The popup window itself (which lists the scenarios) has a large notation at the top above the illustration that says "Unlicensed."

Can you try to uninstall the game completely, and re-install it ?

I can try that but if it asks for serial # I'm out of luck since I don't have it anymore. Guess I've nothing to lose. It doesn't work now. [:D]
