The Germans declare war on Denmark. As flying **** go, its fair to say the US don't give one (a 10 is rolled)

Italy: Combined

Naval Air: None

Naval Movement:
Japan

An HQ and MAR are landed in Tsingtao and a MIL on Hainan

Strategic Bombing: None
Ground Strike: None

Rail Movement: None
Land Movement:
Japan

The Japanese use their three points to move the units from Tsingtao toward the front, and to move the SNLF from Pusan to Seoul.

Germany

The Germans to continue to push on the two key Polish cities, dealing with the outer defences first.

A couple of units start to move west from Poland.

Copenhagen is taken, as is Frederikshaven. Throws of 3, 10 and 9 see the convoy destroyed and the two coastal battleships sail for Plymouth (let me know if that is okay).

Italy

The Italians continue to prat about on the French border.

Land Combat:

The Germans announce one attack in Poland - no aircraft

I won't bother throwing as its +27 modifiers [:)]

Land: China
Combined: CW, US, USSR

Naval Movement

TRANS at Liverpool and Plymouth load MOT's and sail to Calais. Various escorts sails out. CV, CVL and BB from Aden sail to East Med 2-box. CA at Plymouth loads INF Div and sails to Djibouti.

The French put a convoy chain across the Atlantic in anticipation of future trade agreements.

US sails Ranger from Norfolk to San Diego.

INF Div rails from Norfolk to San Diego.

USSR occupies Eastern Poland. The US gets annoyed (4 rolled, 1 chit removed). Mongol CAV reaches Ulan Ude.

Nationalist CAV, the HQ and AA move northwards.

No combat, rebase or reorgs.

Weather mostly fine.

The forces in the north that remain organised start to head west, while the corps in Hainan starts to move north.

Largely infantry forces converge on Amsterdam.

Armour and Motorised units continue to stream west from Poland.

The remaining forces move on Lodz.

I don't understand the retreat rules but I thought you might have a retreat path to Rotterdam? Can't say for certain though....

If Rotterdam is in the ZoC of a German unit, then no retreat as no land unit in the hex.

In Amsterdam the Fractionals fail (651 is thrown) and this leaves the modifier at 18. The land throw is a 12(23). The Dutch infantry are destroyed.

In Lodz the Fractionals also fail (an 835 is thrown) and the modifier settles on 16. The land throw was a 17(23) and the Polish HQ and infantry are destroyed.

In France, Wavell moves to SW of Rouen. The two Egyptian TERR's relocate so Alex' is occupied and potential port landing sites are ZoC'd.

In the Alps, the French MTN and CAV change places.
