Ground Strike:
Japan

A bomber attempts to hit the Chinese communists in the mountains

Germany

A Bomber flies to Antwerp for the same purpose (well not exactly the same as there are no Chinese communists in Antwerp). They try and hit Belgian troops instead.

Rail Movement: None
Land Movement:
Italy

The Italians in East Africa are ordered to take a more defensive approach

Germany

The Germans set up to attack the units in Liege. The failed ground strikes makes an attack on Antwerp impossible.

Japan

The Japanese continue to manoeuvre against the communist forces.

Land Combat:
Germany

Two attacks are announced. An automatic vs Liege and against Warsaw which is +11. Which table do the Poles want to choose?

No partisans

USSR puts chit to defence.

US puts chit into Ge/It.

The Japanese get hot under the collar when they hear of Allied plans to send resources to Japan (1 rolled. Chit to tension pool).

CW: Various escorts stay out. BB , CV and CVL in East Med to Gib'. Biscay - Queens to Cape Town. TRANS and BB's to Plymouth.

France: TRANS in West Med to Tunis.

US: TRANS by Pearl back to San Diego.

Oil Use

CW reorgs all for 2 oils (1.7).

France reorgs all spending the oil at Bordeaux (0.7).

US reorgs all for 0 points (0.4).

No breakdowns.

Production

China 5 - INF, MIL

CW 10 - Scraps some Polish planes and CVP's. INF, FTR-2, Pilot x2, CVP-0 x2, Repair CA London.

France 4 - MIL x2

US 11 - AMPH 1st, CV 1st, INF Div, Piloy x2.

USSR 8 - MTN, Pilot x2.

Reinforcements

Weather a touch soggy in the north but probably not enough to put the Axis off their stride.

It'll have to be Assault as no retreat path.
warspite1

Sorry, until I understand the rule I will have to keep asking [&:].
A unit can not retreat into an impassible hex, across an impassible hexside, onto an enemy unit, or into a vacant hex that has an enemy ZOC exerted into it.

Also, if it retreats into an overstack, it must continue retreating not into a hex it has retreated from. If there is no hex it can retreat to after a chain of retreats, it is destroyed.
I thought I knew how to play this game....

Okay thanks the two bits in bold is what confused me. But I get it now. The overstack presumably can be any length but needs to end not in ZOC.

Two fighters move to the new front-line.
