My Uncle Joe passed away from COVID.[:(] He was in a nursing home in lockdown. He would not wear his hearing aids so he could not hear when his "kids" (my cousins) called. This makes me sad. I'm not sure this is the right societal decision even if it makes public health sense. It seems painfully utilitarian. His wife, my mom's twin passed away in 2019. His cards were up.
