Questions about generals

Post by jzardos »

So after reading the manual again it cleared up a few questions, but still left me with a few.

- do generals only help with land combat?
- what does it mean by 'Generals improve with combat experience'? Their stats change (combat, mobility, tenacity)?
- anything else about Generals that I should know that is not clearly mentioned in the manual?

thanks

Generals only help in land combat. WarPlan is mostly a land combat game.

Just like humans generals learn from their experiences in the field. So combat and mobility can go up due to combat experience. Tenacity doesn't change as it is a tool to be used not a skill that can be increased. Like being stubborn. Sometimes it's good, other times it's bad.

Generals do die in combat. They do get replaced now with a worse general.

I don't want to hear crying if Guderian dies.
