Print out your squad?

Post by Snarker »

Maybe I'm dense - alright, I am dense - but is there any way to print out your squad's stats?

Not that I'm aware of.

I can see where this going, first you get Larkin to include a print out option, then it's 'Hey guys post your squad!' and then when I do, you all laugh at me :) .

Oh Larkin, sweet! This is a very useful feature for me, as I've been hand typing all the stats for the game writeups I've been doing for another message board...

I haven't posted in a couple weeks because I've been busy, but I've been hoping to get started again soon. I just recently finished the first campaign, and am in the middle of building experience for the second.

Well, I haven't yet finished reading this as its a lot bigger than I ever expected. But I would definitely say its worth a look.

As for the question about new campaigns. I can say there will be new campaigns set in the TOSWS universe.

Ascott.. I've been keeping up with your dynasty... nice work! It's fun to read about how others think and play.

I would suggest you download the updated titan files, the heat problem you encountered in core with the heat building up just from walking is alleviated somewhat as a lot of the lighter titans have slightly better cooling rates due to armor/heat reg adjustments.

If you plan on doing some more core battles I'd strongly suggest starting to raise defensive skills as it will help cool your titans. There is a % = to your defensive skill to adjust your heat regs at the beginning of every battle; if it's successful, you get a heat dissapation rate reduction of defensive skill/200 C/sec (I think that's it). Once it's up around 40-50 you can really tell a diffence if you make the check. Either that or that Blade fellow is going to melt your squad :D hehehe.

Glad you're enjoying it. It's been fun to do, because it makes me pay a lot closer attention to what I'm doing because I don't want to have anything bad happen to these "real" pilots.

I've actually been waiting until the official patch, which I assume will include the official updated titans rather than the unofficial ones.

Good point on the defensive skills. I'd forgotten about that. Of course, it's difficult because there are so many important things to spend skill points on...

Yeah, Blade... That was quite a spectacular loss I must say. I went almost instantly from doing quite well to having a horrible loss. That's the way it seems to go...

Don't wait for the patch to get the updated database. It'll most probably not be released with the patch, due to overwriting issues - the patch would overwrite your old files and you'd lose your own designs or others you had imported/built. For the same reason it'll most probably not be released as xchange files in the patch either - you may already have your own.
This is why I posted them as unofficial.
So go grab them :)

Hmm... Ok, sounds like I'll have to do that. Now is a good time anyway, since I'll be needing to buy a new titan for my team...
