Escort/intercept doctrine ignored

Post by eskuche »

I have a disproportionate number of fighters coming to battles that zero should be coming to in v1.12.04. I set to zero due to enemy inactivity.

I confirm that, and I even saw aircraft (always only 1) coming to battle from Fliegerkorps that had the air range of all their subordinated airgroups set to 1 in the CR.

that said, it didn't change the miles traveled of the airgroup, nor any other parameter that I checked, so unless I missed something, more weird than annoying?

Are they acting like escorts or doing fighter-bomber strafing runs? Escort settings will not prevent that, and they will still show up in the report as fighters. They are just doing bombers' job.
