units move on own velision

Post by BrianG »

3 of the top 4 hexes bordering Finland are doubled up. the 3 extra units were in the vacant hex in the front line below the river near Leningrad. Now empty.
They have moved, on their own to these spots. I cant tell if they surrendered and then reformed there, as it shows no battle report on that now empty hex.

the returned units are depleted. before that they were near 70% toe with falling morale.

the 3x fort remains in the empty hex.

I also checked the killed list and these are not listed as the 3 units which surrendered during the German turn(3 others surrendered elsewhere in a normal pocket attack)

I reckon the game is haunted. I was totally sure that the clear hex surrounded by half the German army had 2 big fat juicy RDs in it. Nothing in Battles, no destroyed units. Perhaps I had better get off the schnapps.

Molotov : This we did not deserve.

Foch : This is not peace. This is a 20 year armistice.

Very strange. Saves for replication are a must in cases like these.

I did notice that the aa attached to Leningrad are not degrading. seems odd since all the others in the pocket are fading fast. I looked and all of them are at full strength.

I guess I should have removed these as well before Leningrad was sealed off.

Could it be that the units depleted after Tyronec was finished with his turn? I believe that depleted units auto-route if they are in contact with an enemy unit and in this case they don't really have a lot of choices.

Its like the all got the Spanish flu.

The TOE seemed to have dropped very fast, although its now months since they've been cut off. And very little air supply coming in.

I may have to make Leningrad an open city.

Yes, depleted units can't stay in contact with enemy units, just like HQs and routed units.

You can merge depleted units. That might give you some extra time.
