Air interdiction of Soviet lend-lease

Post by jzardos »

Does the presence of axis air unit with range to the northern lend-lease route have a chance to destroy shipping? How does that work? Anybody tried this and can post their results please?

thanks

Nope, only naval raiders interdict the convoy lanes.

That isn't in the game yet as I have not found an effective way to do it where it doesn't eat the CPU up.

Could you not make it somewhat like port supply Interdiction? If an enemy bomber is within range of a convoy lane hex that is in use, have it attack the lane like a sub. The better the escort tech, the higher the chance the bomber suffers losses (think CVE, CAM ship, etc). Bombers of the naval bombing type should cause more damage of course than close support or other types.

What will eat up the CPU? To check every convoy lane hex for a 6 and 10 hex radius to detect a bomber?
