Axis vs AI，a finished war.

The scenario is 1939 standard, vs historical AI.

By May,1945; Axis has controlled USSR\Norway\Spain\France, and once eastablished two beachheads on USA. The Allies were hold on British Island, lost all their sea superiority, only by air superiority to defend UK. Though, the axis lack manpower to form a massive invasion, unable to maintain supply even if they succeeded to invade UK.

Since I did not record what did i do before May,41; The AAR is started at May,41.

Before that time, I Conquered Poland in 2 turns as everyone do, then invaded Norway in '39's Autumn, never withdraw but send 4 or 5 divisions to guard it.

in '39's Winter, Netherland is Conquered.

in '40's Summer, waged war on Belgium, Luxemburg and finished France almost winter.It's a negotiated surrender, So Vichy took a smaller half of france, southeastern corner of it.

Never went to Africa. Did not invade Greece or any other country. Then by May,41 I started my record.

Decleared war with USSR. My preparation is:

9 GER Armor Corps,
1 GER Mechanized Corp,
3 GER Fighter Group,
4 GER Tactical Group,
1 GER CloseSupport Group.

13 Italian Infantry Divisions,(6 corps)
9 Italian Armor Corps,

9 Hun Infantry Div, (3 corps)
1 Hun Fighter,

15 Rom Infantry, Div,(5 corps)
1 Rom Fighter,

178 trucks.

in the First turn, Axis hardly captured any city, all their efforts were to create a passway.

May 23,1941

the attack did not go well. North Russia is rainy, which lower german attack even more. basically axis armys did not advance (they want to, but can't).

Submarines go to Inner Sea and Norway ocean patrolling(for a very long time).

June 6,1941

As the weather became clear, Axis starts to go quickly. Different with history, axis choose to slow their paces to eliminate as much USSR soldiers as possible, with finally leads to a victory.(USSR surrended in June.44)

Advances as usual.

until bad weather or winter, axis keeps a about 8 eliminate each turn, from corps to armys.

The Southern part, USSR established a solid frontline along a river, while the center and north is still in chaos.

I adjusted my strategy: AGN, AGS stop at where they were, eliminate their sieged enemies then eastablish defense line, prepare for winter.Gather all Armor and winter trained troops to AGC, open a gateway to moskow.

in the south, a paratrooper is deployed behind soviet's defense line, harassed it's airports.

Leningrad is under siege. center soviet soldiers finally formed a defence line in a rainy turn in Sept.

Prepared to go into winter.

Jan.2.42,
last turn, USA joined the war. At that time i did not know that it would join the europe battlefield a long time later, so i rushed my troops to advance, though this made them took a heavy loss(which is not necessary at all)

the sieged city in center is moskow.

Axis took Moskow in Jan.16.42, USSR moved it's Capital to Cheyabinsk.
USA deployed some air units in North Africa.
Commander changed,
Zeppelin started constraction in Feb,42, will be in service in Autumn,43.
Italian's Aquila CV in service.
March, Germany started to train it's first stratgic bombing group.

By Apr.26.42, the army is ready to embrace spring's coming.

May,8 ,42

As the mud turn to soil, axis started it's offensive warfare. Leningrad, sieged for a whole winter, 7 months long, was finally captured.(This game really need to change it's supply system. How can a besieged city, with low prodution or none, stay for such long time?)

the first few turns of attack in '42 wasnot well planned, only shatter soviet units, but this only causes 10% loss, and 3 monthes later they will be deployed again.Luckily, i planned quickly to prevent that.

USA deployed it's first land unit in UK, and UK's army is well prepared at it's south. Canadian is on the UK. I know it's planning, but never thought to be this fast.

Swallowed whole USSR central front, crashed southern front and force them retreat (they quickly managed a defense line behind Don river).

To be noted, USSR navy in north (Leningrad) is eliminated by German Navy, and it navy in south is quickly eliminated by Ju87 later.

And, Italian Navy won an important surface battle, lossing 1BB, sunk 2 HMS BB and their CA/DD.

August 28,42

After digested the SOV's central front, AGC chose to go south, help AGS finish it's target.(if it just drive forward, nobody can help him maintain such a long supply line. By this time i guess there are 400 manpower guarding captured USSR territory.)

For AGC has all the Armor Corps, it quickly swallowed another enemy group.


Meanwhile in Berlin, the growing threat of UK forced me to put all airforces in France. With the Strategic Bomber deployed, I started to Bombing London\SouthAmpton\Berminham\Hull.(After a long time i realize it's a wrong decision. I waste too many manpower and production to do so, while though the bombing was always successful, the sum of lossed industry is ignorable.)

Sept.25.42

AGN reached Kirov and Kazan,
AGC reached Ulyanovsk and Gubyshoev,
AGS break volga line and finally reached Don river.

Though Axis is wining on all three line, the replacing fee used all german's production. I almost gave up, wanna stay where i currently am and turn my head back. But coming this far i finally chose to go forward.

however, i estimate that i used 500manpwoer to guard USSR territory, and on all line it's about 600, which means i only have a 2:1 ratio.
