FKeys not working?

FKeys not working?

i got a Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard the function keys (F1, F11) do not seem to work in game!? any ideas? F Lock?

Can you be a bit more precise. Only F1 + F11 are not working ? Whats F-Lock ? Anybody else with the same keyboard please comment.

None of the FKeys work... with FLock on or off... FLock is some lame M$ key that changes all the function keys around. But even when i turn that off it still does not work.

it is hard to play/tutorial without FKeys...

is there a way to change key mappings? mouse speed?

patch?

I have an F-lock on my keyboard, and when it is on, I can only use F2 in WS. None of the other F keys work, so I've gotten in the habit of turning the F-lock off each time I turn on the computer. I'm not sure what would cause them not to work even with F-lock off. I can verify that they do work normally for me with the F-lock turned off.

You can't change key mappings. Mouse speed can be changed with adding

[mouse]
mouse_accel_factor = 1

in data/configs/tcc.cfg after the [system] settings

To fix your problem we must first find whats broken. Since we never encountered such a problem it may take some time. Its not a common bug.

Just checked Logitechs "F Lock" feature, that works like a charm. No problems here.

i applied this reg hack to toggle the default behaviour of the FLock key... to make it start up behaving as a regular keyboard...

i just tried it again after running undo.reg and it still does not seem to work.

F1 works in notepad for me... and ALT-F4 to close it...

looks like a good game :)
