[SOLVED] Question on Air naval interception

Post by ncc1701e »

I do not understand. I open Europe 1941 in hotseat mode. I am setting the three air units like the following:
1. Full Support
2. Naval interception

I never had any air naval interception trying several times. First question: Is it intent?

Once invaded, the beaches are owned by Germany.

And after destroying the intruder, still owned by Germany even after ending my turn. I am obliged to move the UK units leaving their hexes and coming back for the beaches ownership to change. Second question: is it not possible to automatically change it once the unit has been destroyed? I know this is a very particular case because no unit can access beaches...

I'll put that on the list. WP2 won't have beaches. All coastal hexes will be water and land.

Thanks, what about the first question on air naval interception. Are they not supposed to attack enemy naval traffic?

Alvaro, looks like a Strategic Air Group cannot do Naval Air Interception contrary to a Tactical Air Group.

Is it the expected behavior?

If so, perhaps add a Tactical Air Group in England at the beginning of Europe 1941 scenario?

Solved with beta patch v1.00.7U8 - April 29th:
Added strategic bombers to air interdiction category

This is no longer possible to invade UK so easily now.
