Telescopic Sight

Hi guys,

After several months, I have updated to v1.1.1 and I see that the game has improved a lot; I can't find anywhere what it means when 1,2 or 3 telescopic sights appear on the target.

By the way, where I can find the updated manual, the one in the "Manuals" folder is from 2019.

Just noticed that on the v.1.1.2 beta released today. I had detailed tooltips on at the time and saw some brief mssgs such as "Hard shot", "Bad shot" etc. My guess is that these scope icons that appear on the lower left corner of the target icon are visual indicators of these tooltip mssgs.

I dont think the game manual has been updated since release last year. I hope the intent is to do so when patch releases slow down.

Finally got a screenshot of the "telescopic sights". These are visual icons for Obscured, Hard, and Bad shots. However the icons are centered below the target reticle, not at the lower left corner of the target icon as I first thought.

So 1 sight is obscured, 2 sights is hard and 3 sights is bad?

Each target reticle has a specific meaning. Had to dig into the C:\Program Files (x86)\...\Close Combat - The Bloody First\Data\UI\Textures to find the image labels which define them. More fodder for a game manual update.
