Feature request: sea movement planner

Post by MorningDew »

I have a feature request to help plan sea movement and invasions planning.

It would be awesome if there was a hot key that would go into a simulated sea movement from the hex the mouse is over, showing range as you move the mouse. Effectively, showing the same things you would see if you had selected a naval unit and moved the mouse.

It does. That is what the "1" and "2" display. The operation points used.

Wait - how does that work when you don't have a naval unit selected?

For example, I want to see what is 1 op point away from a port or beach. I don't think here is anyway to see that without selecting a naval unit.

What I am asking for is a way to see what it would be from a specific hex if a naval unit had been selected.

Sort of like range circles, but for naval op point usage from a specific hex.

I'll put that feature on my list of considerations.
