My fighters only attack bombers that have escorts?

Post by Tanaka »

My German fighters over France only attack incoming bombers with escorts but the strategic bombers fly in with no escort and nothing happens? Is this WAD?

Perhaps Allied player is sequencing with his escorted bombers first to exhaust your defenders so by the time the strategic bombers come there are no defending fighters available to attack them?

What is WAD?

I can only think then that the unescorted bombers were out of your interceptors' interception range?

No in range for sure. If there are like four bomber attacks and two fighters to intercept how does the game decide who they intercept? Bombers with escorts first? Or is it just always the first attacks? Also they are being attacked by AA if that has anything to do with it? Can fighters and AA not attack the same target?

That explains it. Anything attacked by your AA will not be intercepted by your fighters. That's how the game is right now. So often times AA can be counter-productive. I once had a game where my opponent bought Italian AAs in France. Those AAs with super low NM couldn't do any damage to my bombers while his super German fighters just sat next it and did nothing. He had to disband those lousy Italian AAs to let the Germans start working.

Yes that is exactly what is happening. This needs to be adjusted so that the superior unit defends or that the attack is combined or something? [&:]
