In the Dastactic video (ep31 @8:23) he is trying to find out why supply doesn't go into a hex. It would seem it should but it doesn't. Anyone know why? (want to know myself so i know how to fix it too

Yes. There is an upkeep cost for all the asset buildings and if they don't have enough then it hinders their supply. I think for truck stations if you don't have enough workers you get less LIS points and if you don't have enough fuel you get less Action Points - which was the issue in this instance.I am still confused. So great to see this thread because I watched DAS last night and I realized there is still so much to Supply/LIS that I do not understand. DAS, are you saying Fuel impacts the Logistics trucks?
It would have been a better move to build the truck station one hex away.Going slightly off track, DAS, in the capital you Nationalized the Truck Depot, which cost $500 and Unhappiness. Why not make a 1 hex road off of the Capital, and place a Truck Depot there? Wouldn't that be better because (1) You do not have to pay $500 and suffer Unhappiness, and (2) you now have this new Truck Depot, plus the one already in the Capital owned by Private industry?
