Interesting thread it looks like my allied carriers are defaulting to the 0.2x capacity option which probably means something weird is happening because its adfter end of war

The default should be (h)(iii) from the quote I provided. That should see 0.4x CV capacity, which works out to 36 aircraft, the number of ready aircraft you need to specify to begin with. I think.[:)]

Is there a way to say don't resize at all via that field I always assumed it was either leave blank or YYMM and then Number to resize Sqn to ??

OK, now got the right post.

Try the 5th resize option, not the first.

Andy Mac,

You are not going to like this thread.

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2789863&mpage=1&key=resize&#2790308

To date, haven't found any evidence michaelm75au ever followed up his post.

But look on the bright side, at least someone else besides Nemo took out your Downfall scenario for a spin around the block.

Alfred

Edit: However, notwithstanding the gloom and doom of the above, NB post#3 from michaelm75au in this thread

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.a ... e&#2743654

It seems to confirm what I suggested in my PM

Thanks Alfred tried it didn't work but I do have a workaround if I set all the Essex Class to 150 capacity they end up with 90 planes in the right mix !!!

Its weird but it works and will allow me to keep testing while I try and resolve the underlying issue !!!

Many thanks for the assist

If the bug is hard-coded and can't be fixed, another option is to make Scen 14 the "Allied-human only" version and use the oversized Essex in a "Japan-human only" scenario (in the 100 series). If that's the only difference, it would be a relatively simple solution.
