Does Normandy44 in toaw4 is broken?

The sequel of the legendary wargame with a complete graphics and interface overhaul, major new gameplay and design features such as full naval combat modelling, improved supply handling, numerous increases to scenario parameters to better support large scenarios, and integrated PBEM++.

Does Normandy44 in toaw4 is broken?

As allied side I can not protect my on-board army. They are keep dying on the sea by german coatal battery. It looks completely different to the toaw3 Normandy44 scenario.

I think I tried this one as allies a few times, it is a delicate operation for the Allies.

Will try to dig up some of my notes about this scene. Off the top of my head, I recall that
ship-borne artillery / shore bombardment by the heavy Allied naval is key to getting on to the beaches there.
As are the Engineers.
