Tesla’s next factory is going to be in Austin, Texas and it’s going to happen quickly

Theatrics aside, I think this is just the leading edge of a great economic migration in the US.

Here's a bit of what has really been going on at the top of the ladder. Good thing for State Governors and other local governments in the US.

Paywall, I can't access even a shadowed version of the story. I have some extensions that does searches for other paywall sites, but not the FT.[:(] You could try using an archive of it.

A different take on masks from a neurosurgeon. Complete with footnotes. I am not advocating going mask-less.[:)]

A different take on masks from a neurosurgeon.

When a person is infected with a respiratory virus, they will expel some of the virus with each breath. If they are wearing a mask, especially an N95 mask or other tightly fitting mask, they will be constantly rebreathing the viruses, raising the concentration of the virus in the lungs and the nasal passages.

GOOD GRIEF !!

Another explanation of why wearing masks help stop the spread. Not entirely sure it this works for girls too

Even though I am at risk at work I have to admit I am getting damn tired of some slicked-back-hair guy in Sacramento telling me what beach I can walk on.

I am flying up to Bozeman, Montana in 2 weeks for some float trips on the Madison and maybe fish in Yellowstone too. And I'm not going to wear a mask standing hip deep in a river. I predict I will not be arrested in Montana.
I tried to send this via PM, but your mailbox is full.

I talked to Bob Jacklin about the fishing and runoff, he is the absolute expert.

The runoff has just started and will be in full swing in two weeks.

He says the fishing from shore is great at Hebgen Lake and the Madison river just below
the Hebgen Lake Dam.

Yes, I was worried about that. Thanks for the inquiry. Might be more drinking and hiking.

Looking at Worldometers it seems that the US and Europe (less Russia) are now running at pretty much equivalent deaths/M.

You mean currently-today? That may be. Most European countries are still well ahead of us in cumulative deaths / M.

Nobody can sit at Red Communist tables in this region of the USA. Are all US citizens seeing the same thing, or is this some regional political thing?

[It's supposed to be a split screen but I screwed it up. There are USA Green tables were folks CAN sit].

I think the write-up Lowpe posted (#7765) is much more convincing.

I guess you could compare Brazil to those countries where the population is using masks, look at the numbers, and then come to your own conclusions... For myself - I'll wear a mask. Is it a guarantee that I won't catch it? No. But if I'm contagious then I'd like to know I did everything I could to prevent spreading the virus to someone else...

So over 122 people in Colorado have died from alcohol poisoning? What the heck are those people drinking - Everclear?
