There is a roll for the Dutch cruiser van Heemskerck. I want to complete this EoT in one hit so I am going to choose for it to go to Germany in order to move the game along. I really don't think its a crucial decision.

Italy fly one FTR2 to the West Med 2-box.

Italy send one SUB to Cape St Vincent 3-box, and one SUB to the Central Atlantic 1-box.

Italy begin searching in the West Med, and reinforce the area with one LND3, and one NAV2.

Both sides find in the East Med (axis 3, Allies 1).

Italy select naval air combat. How will Allies spend their surprise points.

Italy will remain for a second round. Will Allies remain for a second round as well?

I don't have the game open so can you just let me know the effect of either increasing or decreasing the combat hit by the two points please?

Increasing the AA fire change it to lowest die out of 5.

Decreasing damage done change the result from 2A to 1A, however, considering that the unmodified AA fire will reduce the attacking force with at least 1 this alternative guarantees 'no result' on the French fleet.

The French AA fire is extremely accurate and aborts the bomber. (5,7,7,6,6,10) [:(]

The 2 surprise points reduce the result on the French fleet to nothing at all.

The Italians remain and are thirsty for revenge. Will Allies remain as well?
