[Resolved] Cannot use the beta update. Error code on steam.

So for what it’s worth, the most recent update does not work on Steam versions. (Most recent beta)

Unwrapped the update, copied it over (replacing anything it could) but when I tried to run the 4K fix it just crashed (the 4K exe I think) and just said “4KFix has stopped working).

I tried this several times so..... it seems like it’s not working. I play on a 4K tv with high DPI settings (otherwise everything is tiny) so it’s necessary to get command to load.
Otherwise it just sits forever on the loading screen, in 4K with anything other than 100% dpi, forever and never starts.

The error message is: “4KFix has stopped working,”

“Unhandled exception: system.Nullreferenceexception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. At _4KFix.Module.Main()”

Any idea how to fix this?

Update:
While the beta update still wouldn’t work..., I was able to follow the 4K tech support thread stickied at the top. Now 4K works at high DPI settings,
