Polish garrison

6 units must be left in Poland by Axis.Is a division for this purpose considered 1 unit?Would 2 corps consisting of 3 divisions be considered 6 units?

I don't think 2 corps will work - you need 6 pieces of fake cardboard so you must split them up

Yes.So an individual division counts as 1 unit.So either 6 individual divisions or 6 corps?3 divisions in 1 corps should be 3 units if 1 division is a unit.

The rules states that you need to deploy 6 units not 6 divisions therefore a Corp is counted as 1 unit however many divisions are in it and a division is also counted as 1 unit.

A counter is a unit. Think of it as the need to spread troops around

Does a HQ count as a unit toward the 6 needed? Like can I put the 5-5-5 General's HQ in Warsaw plus 5 other units within 10 hexes?

Yes HQs count in my experience. I've left HQ + 5 divisions
