Sure this is an easy one for those much better at Lua than I am. Ok, here is my issue, I have a unit "Polar #1" and need it to fly a Great Circle Route around Norway to avoid fighters when it is RTB (RTB at Joker +30% to ensure enough fuel).

Actually, I have another alternative. going to have the unit assigned to the Support Mission to have it start to RTB after it has been on station for three hours. That should be good for an MPA.

I was Navy, but Assigned TAD to the 24th MAU Hq in Beirut. By far the finest period of my service!

Sounds like you already have a good solution, but I was thinking monitor status for contains 'RTB', + set Not to Ignore plotted course, + waypoints injected via unit.course when the RTB is detected?
