Game complete - how to end

I had a PBEM+ game end. I click end turn and it pops up the victory condition screen.

I close that and I am still in the end turn. It never uploads so my opponent can see it. And the game always shows as "my turn". How does Warplan wrap up when the game is over?

I did press end turn again and it "uploaded", but it is still my turn. Perhaps because the Axis has no unconquered countries left? My opponent would like to see the last turn.

I just finished 2 games with different endings. I noticed and it is on my fix list. But the opponent should be able to download the turn and then resign on their own. Just as you resign the game.
